Welcome to Sipajhar College, one of the premier institutions of higher education in Darrang district of Assam (India). The College was established in 1971 by a visionary group of local people with a noble mission to make quality higher education accessible to economically disadvantaged student community of the greater Sipajhar area of western part of Darrang district. With the mission, the college became a nerve-centre for intellectual, academic, sports and cultural pursuits in the region. I feel honoured and proud as the Principal of this esteemed institution to be a part of the vibrant and dynamic community of students, teachers and staff.

Our journey at Sipajhar College began with a vision - to create a nurturing environment where knowledge meets character. Over the years, we have strived to uphold this vision, and today, we have completed glorious 50 years with the collective efforts of our dedicated faculty and staff, committed students, and supportive parents and well wishers. The National Assessment and Accreditation Council have accredited our college with the B++ grade in the third cycle in 2023.
Ours is a green and clean campus which boasts of state-of-the-art facilities like modern classrooms, well-equipped laboratories, research facility, a well-stocked library, and recreation spaces. We believe that an encouraging environment enhances the learning experiences, and we continuously invest in upgrading our infrastructure to meet the evolving needs of our students.
