AWARDS AND SCHOLARSHIPS

Award from Teachers’ Cooperative Society:
This award is instituted from the Academic session 2006-07 by the donation given by the members of the Teachers’ Cooperative Society. The student who receives the highest overall score in the Sipajhar College Undergraduate Final Examination (Best Graduate of Sipajhar College) is awarded a single reward of Rs. 3000 per year.

Dr. Sarada Nair Memorial Award:
This award is instituted from the Academic session 2011-12 by the donation given by Dr. Malini Nair. Each year, the student who receives the highest overall score in the Undergraduate Final Examination in English (Best Graduate in English) is given a single award worth Rs. 5000 along with a citation and a trophy.

Paribanu Begum Memorial Award:
This award is instituted from the Academic session 2014-15 by the donation given by Dr. Sultana Rezia. Each year, the student who receives the highest overall score in the Undergraduate Final Examination in Education (Best Graduate in Education) is given a single award worth Rs. 2,500.

Arati Nath Memorial Award:
This award is instituted from the Academic session 2020-21 by the donation given by Dr. Kashmiri Nath. The student who receives the second-highest cumulative score in the Undergraduate Final Examination in Education (2nd best Graduate in Education) is annually awarded a single reward of Rs. 2000.

Financial assistance to meritorious chemistry honours students who have cleared entrance for Master degree/other higher studies.

Moreover, deserving students can enjoy the benefits of various state and central government Scholarship such as National Merit scholarship such as DST INSPIRE, UGC ISHAN UDAY, State Merit scholarship, Scholarship to SC/ST/OBC/MOBC scholarships.
